Back from GalaCon 2015

I actually made no new entry in my journal since I came back from GalaCon 2014 - I was pretty inactive on dA...
Anyways; GalaCon 2015 was interesting. Some things were good, some things were less good (no Art-Room ? What a shame...). Overall I think it was very positive. Made some photos and I hopefully can create a new stereographic image shortly.
Spend some time with
and got to know more about the troubles of wearing a pony-suit 
- these people deserve some respect for their dedication. Also we bought the staff banner together - great success 
(but 
needs to get a real banner next year - what were they thinking ?! 
)
I only attended a few panels but
did a really nice job of showing his way of working - turns out, no magic is required for making comics - but talent seems to be required 
That's it for now - going back to my silent existence as a non-productive member of this community

I'm actually back for some days now but I just now found some time to update my journal...
Going to the GalaCon was an interesting experience that had ups and downs. But mostly ups for me.
I already created some new deviations from photos I took there but there are still a few things on the backlog.

Finally an excuse to update this journal.
I'm currently packing the last things before I go on my small journey to Ludwigsburg to experience the GalaCon 2014. It's only a six hour drive for me so I guess I have nothing to complain about.

Really... I could not stand reading my entry from before GalaCon 2013 over and over again...
I would love to do more dA-worthy stuff but real life is keeping me quite busy - but that is a good thing actually if you are not working in an artist field...

Actually I'm back since last Monday but did not get to update this journal earlier...
GalaCon 2013 was a really nice experience. I did not get to see many of the panels but I think I made good decisions on how to spend my time.
My personal highlight was getting a sketch from 
that really gave me a boost in motivation to draw more.

I also got two engraved glasses at the charity auction that I really like - If I only knew who actually made them; but maybe I'll find out.
