Confident Spike

I think I am quietly relaxing my rule of not doing traces... it is just too much fun to do...
But I think it is important to be honest about it - I could not come up with even half the quality myself...

When I was going through the very first MLP episode (S01E01) to find some reference shots I found this little gem. Spike really has some nice poses and expressions in all the episodes but this one just said to me: trace me!

This is from the scene where Spike has some doubts on the importance of Twilights letter to the princess regarding Nightmare Moon's return.

I did a quick search on Spike vectors on dA and did not find this particular pose so I have the small hope that I am the first to provide this to the public...

Although this is a trace I made some minor changes that looked better to me.
